The Polish Zloty, PLN, is the Poland state official currency, located in Central Europe. It was put into circulation in 1924, replacing the Polish mark. The currency issuer is the Poland National Bank. Currently, the Polish zloty is the 22nd currency in the most traded currencies ranking in the world. Poland has been a member state of the European Union since May 1, 2004, but has not yet adopted the Euro as its internal currency.
